Answers to frequently asked questions about our secret compartment furniture:

Q: Can I customize my piece?

A: Yes, everything that we build is built to order so customizing to fit your needs is what we do best.

Q: I am trying to match an existing piece of furniture in my home, will the color match?

A: If you are having difficulty choosing between colors from our color chart, we can mail you samples so you can hold the color next to your existing piece to see what matches best.

Q: How much is Shipping & Freight charges?

A: Shipping is different with each product as the shipping price is dependent on the weight, size and your location. Typically, shipping will be added during checkout. You will see what the cost breakdown before payment. We ship worldwide. If you live outside of the U.S. please call before ordering as we must calculate the shipping charge to your country. We carefully package each piece to ensure a safe journey to your home.  Your piece will be shipped to your door; the carrier will not bring the piece inside.

Q: Will you build a piece using less expensive materials to lower the cost?

A: No, we do not build with soft woods or particleboard.  We all have seen these pieces of furniture in the garbage because someone hit them with a vacuum and the piece crumbled into pieces.
 


 

POLICIES

Materials and construction methods:

We proudly use sustainable harvested and FSC certified hardwoods.  All of our tables are made from 100% hardwoods including the drawer boxes.  They are constructed using mortis and tenon construction and dovetail joints.  Large flat sections of bookcases and cabinetry are made using a combination of solid hardwoods and hardwood veneered hardwood ply.  We do not use particleboard in any of our furniture.

 

All sales are final, we do not offer refunds because the piece was made to order and completed with the finish of your choice.

Damaged in Transit:

If your item is damaged in the shipping process we are not liable for damages. We hire a third party to ship our products. If damage does occur, you can file a claim with the shipping company to get you reimbursement/replacement for the product. Once a piece leaves our shop, we no longer hold responsibility for the item. It is your responsibility to inspect the piece once it arrives at your home, if the piece is damaged, DO NOT accept the delivery. Make a note on the shipping paperwork that the piece was damaged and instruct the shipping company to send the piece back.

UPS and freight now require a phone number on all packages.  Add a box that has to be filled in that requires a phone number for all orders.

 


 

Buyer acknowledges:

1. Top Secret Furniture (“Seller”) offers concealment furniture/compartments as an option for the storage of weapons and valuables, but does NOT GUARANTEE the security of items stored within the furniture or the safety of any person who may have access to Seller’s furniture.

2. Some compartments do not have locks for quick accessibility.  However, many of Seller’s secret compartments have locks installed.  All locks can be bypassed and as an owner of Seller’s furniture, you are solely responsible for how they are used, consistent with the owner’s manual provided by the Seller.

3. Seller shall not be responsible for any property damage, or personal injury in Buyer’s use of Seller’s furniture.  All items the Buyer determines to store in any and all of Seller’s furniture should be handled with great care.  Seller suggests that you read the owner’s manual for each firearm owned by the Buyer for everyone’s safety.

Limited Warranty and Disclaimer.  Seller warrants to the original Buyer that the goods manufactured by Seller shall be free under normal use from defects in material or workmanship, except for normal wear and tear. This warranty does not extend to future performance.  This warranty does not cover any goods that have been misused, neglected, damaged or altered after leaving Seller’s possession.  Seller will repair or replace, at Seller’s sole discretion, those goods that do not satisfy this warranty, but only if written notice of the defect is given to Seller by Buyer within thirty (30) days after Buyers receipt of such goods.  The determination of whether a defect exists shall be made solely by Seller.  Buyer shall return any goods to Seller in order that Seller has a reasonable opportunity to inspect and sample the goods to determine whether a defect exists and whether the goods should be repaired or replaced.  Any shipping cost for returning defective goods shall be paid by Seller.  Any goods returned to Seller shall be subject to a reasonable charge to cover Seller’s cost of handling the goods to return them to Buyer.

 

DISCLAIMER

NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION IN THIS DOCUMENT, SELLER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALSO DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR ANY OTHER SPECIAL DAMAGES OF BUYER, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, PERSONAL INJURY, FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY OR OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF BUYER AGAINST SELLER.
